These are the cheapest gas stations, according to the OCU

BonÀrea is the cheapest chain in diesel A and 95 gasoline, with supermarkets and service stations in Catalonia and bordering areas of Aragon, followed by GM Oil – linked to GM ‘cash’ -, Beroil, Campsa Express – the ‘low’ variant cost’ of Campsa- and Petroprix. This is revealed by a study of gasoline and diesel prices at more than 10,000 service stations published this Tuesday by the Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU).

The study reveals that BonÀrea is the cheapest chain in A diesel and 95 gasoline, with supermarkets and service stations in Catalonia and bordering areas of Aragon. It is followed by the GM Oil automatic gas station chains (linked to GM cash), as well as Beroil, Campsa Express, the ‘low cost’ variant of Campsa, and Petroprix.

At the other extreme and in the case of diesel, the most expensive are IDS, BP, Cepsa and Repsol, whose prices are at least 10% more expensive on average than the cheapest, which represents an extra cost of around 0. 16 euros/liter.

For 95 gasoline, the most expensive are BP and Petronor, followed by Cepsa, Repsol, Valcarce and Avia, with a difference of at least 0.14 euros/liter.

The provinces with the highest percentage of cheap service stations, whose minimum price is at least 2.5% lower than the national average, are Navarra, Almería and Murcia, where more than 40% of gas stations have prices economical.

Behind them are Valladolid, Córdoba, Lérida, Toledo and Barcelona, ??while in the Balearic Islands only 4% of their gas stations would be classified as cheap.

They are followed by Guipúzcoa, Orense, Asturias, Ávila, Palencia and La Rioja, with percentages of between 12% and 18% of gas stations with low fuel prices.
