Keeping the car clean and shiny is something we all like. Car care is more than just a matter of aesthetics and says a lot about our cleaning habits, so it is normal that we dedicate part of our time to cleaning it. The most common thing is to wash the car from the outside and, at most, clean the floor mats, leaving a more in-depth action for special occasions.
Only the most meticulous people in the comprehensive cleaning of the car pay special attention to the care of the upholstery. The interior of the vehicle is where we spend much of our time and therefore we should put more effort into keeping all corners of the cabin clean. Accumulated dirt and food remains, in addition to being a source of possible unpleasant odors, can affect the comfort and aesthetics of the car. It can also cause stains to form on the seats that dirty the upholstery.
Therefore, cleaning the car upholstery is a task that we should do regularly. A while ago, at Moveo we echoed a domestic trick that has become all the rage on Tik-Tok. It consists of applying a homemade solution composed of a mixture of water, detergent, baking soda and alcohol to car seats, which has proven to be highly effective in eliminating unwanted stains and odors on car upholstery.
This time we bring to our channel another trick to clean car seats in a much easier way. It involves using an anti-stain spray, a specific solution that simplifies the task of removing and maintaining car upholstery in optimal conditions.
As user yolandavaquitayoli explains on her Tik-Tok account, car upholstery can be cleaned in a very short time using a specific foam that can be purchased at any drugstore or online. This solution is very economical, costing around 10 euros and yields considerably, meaning that the contents of a single container will last for several applications.
To start cleaning, we must first remove any remains of dirt from both the seats and the mats. For this we will use a vacuum cleaner. Once we have finished, it is time to spray the upholstery with the spray. You have to let the foam act on the surface, so the user advises us to clean the mats in the meantime.
When a few minutes have passed since we applied the spray to the car seats, the foam turns a grayish color. It is irrefutable proof that it has absorbed dirt from the upholstery. From the moment the foam no longer shows its characteristic white color, we can proceed to wipe the seats with a damp cloth to leave them with an impeccable shine.
Before getting into the car, it is necessary to wait for the upholstery to dry completely. Following the instructions of the author of the video to the letter, we will see how once the entire process is completed, the cabin regains its appearance as if the vehicle were new. All this, with minimal effort on our part.
