Social networks witnessed a video that generated debate in San Fernando, Cádiz. In this audiovisual material, initially shared on TikTok and later on the Social Drive account of .

The images show the driver of the electric scooter with his feet on what appears to be construction material and a door, while traveling on public roads. Although the exact date on which the video was recorded has not been confirmed, it is ruled out that it was during the recent weekend of rain and wind in the province.

Despite this, the video has generated a great impact on social networks, accumulating more than 700,000 views on different platforms, and counting.

The current regulations for electric scooters clearly state that only one person is allowed to ride on the vehicle. In addition, restrictions are imposed regarding speed, which must be maintained within the range of 6 to 25 km/h. Its circulation on sidewalks, pedestrian areas, pedestrian crossings, highways, expressways, interurban roads and tunnels in urban environments is also strictly prohibited.

In line with the regulations applicable to drivers of motor vehicles, users of electric scooters are also subject to the same regulations regarding alcohol and drug consumption. In addition, they are prohibited from using headphones or mobile devices while traveling, in order to guarantee road safety and prevent possible distractions that could endanger themselves and other road users.

The incident has generated controversy, with users expressing divergent opinions about the individual’s behavior. While some argue that having a door on the scooter does not represent a risk in itself, others point out possible violations of traffic regulations, such as the use of a cell phone while driving.
