Power and acceleration are also synonymous with safety. We often tend to associate these two concepts with danger, but sometimes, certain maneuvers – especially in the city – require agility, speed and determination to be safe. In unforeseen situations that require an instant reaction from the driver, a forceful response is very effective and can avoid mishaps.

In some additions, overtaking maneuvers, avoiding obstacles, to “get out” of the blind spot of other vehicles or simply to position or move away from other vehicles and thus preserve the safety distance, it is advisable to have good power and acceleration.

This is precisely what the Segway E300SE offers, equipped with the latest technologies and cutting-edge features to set a new standard in terms of performance, comfort and safety in the 125cc equivalent electric scooter market. Segway-Ninebot, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of urban electric mobility, wanted to provide its urbanite with unprecedented power and performance in this segment.

The Segway E300SE stands out for its engine, whose configuration produces one of the most powerful power outputs on the market, achieving an astonishing 2.89 seconds from 0 to 50 km/h. It reaches a maximum speed of 105 km/h, and can circulate without problems on the main interurban expressways. The acceleration records have been obtained under standard use conditions; with a driver weighing 75 kg, at 25ºC ambient temperature and with a wind speed of 3 m/s on a paved road.

The range of the E300SE is equally impressive, with a range of up to 130 km (according to WMTC cycle) with all three batteries connected. For its part, the accumulated autonomy data has been achieved under the same conditions and traveling at 45 km/h speed until the vehicle has run out of battery.

Two 2000 Wh batteries are included as standard, but an optional third battery can be included to increase autonomy up to 50% (the third battery is sold separately). The charging capacity is flexible: the batteries can be removed and charged separately or charged directly without removing them. Each battery is equipped with an intelligent battery management system (BMS) to offer additional protection, maximize safety and extend battery life.

The E300SE not only stands out for its power, but also for its comfort and safety. It features hydraulic damping at the front and pressurized nitrogen with adjustable preload at the rear, providing a smooth ride even on uneven terrain.

To ensure driver safety, the E300SE is equipped with TCS (Traction Control System) intelligent traction control technology and a dual-channel ABS braking system with dual-piston J.Juan calipers. In addition, through the Segway-Ninebot app that has the Airlock system, the eScooter can be turned on and off without a key.

The application also offers general vehicle information, such as battery status and range; GPS location in real time; remote control; information shared with drivers around the world; and notifications, from low battery to vibrations or unauthorized movements.

Another standout feature of the Segway E300SE is its generous storage space. With a space of 34 liters, it offers almost 60% more capacity compared to the competition. The two batteries are located under the footrest, allowing for more under-seat storage without the need to add an additional rear locker.

The third battery would be installed under the seat, in which case 17 liters of storage remain. In addition, the design of the batteries under the central footrest platform improves the dynamics and stability of the scooter while driving by lowering the center of gravity.

The Segway E300SE, which is now available on the market and can be found at authorized dealers, stands out for offering exceptional acceleration, class-leading autonomy, ample storage space and, above all, a favorable quality-price ratio, with an RRP of 4,799 euros (not including state aid from the Moves plan and reduction in personal income tax).
