The Spanish Paralympic cycling team will face the first concentration of the 2024 season in Valencia, from December 1 to 7, with nine cyclists and the first objective set in the World Cup in Adelaide (Australia), which will be held from the 13th to the 17th. from January.
This first test of the World Cup circuit, in which the vast majority of medal hopefuls at the Paris Games are expected to be, forces the Spanish team to advance its preparation with respect to previous years, so the national team, led by coach Félix García Casas, will work in Valencia, both on the track and on the road.
The cyclists who will attend the concentration will be Ricardo Ten (C1), Luis Javier Arcega (C2), Maurice Eckhard (C2), Eduardo Santas (C3), Damián Ramos (C4), Julio Enrique Bermejo (C4), Alfonso Cabello (C5 ), Pablo Jaramillo (C5) and Christian Venge-Eloy Teruel (B).
During the work week that the Spanish Paralympic cycling team will face in Valencia, in addition to starting the preparation for that first competition, various tests will also be carried out at the Lluis Puig velodrome with new material so that the runners can continue maximizing their performance.
