In recent times, there has been a massive arrival of cars with spectacular performance that leave fossil fuels behind to focus on electric mobility. To this we must add that practically all of these new developments come mainly from three continents, such as Europe, America and Asia. However, there are also a few proposals that completely fall outside these parameters, which are increasingly common.

And the striking vehicle that you can see in the photographs does not use any type of electrification nor does it come from any of the three continents mentioned above. Its homeland is New Zealand (therefore, it arrives from Oceania), the country where it has been designed and manufactured. In addition, it is an impressive hypercar whose mechanics are combustion.

The car is powered by a 4.0-liter V10 RC.Ten engine that generates no less than 1,176 HP of power that allows the vehicle to reach a maximum speed of 360 km/h. It should be noted that the FZero is an extraordinary single-seater designed for the circuit and that it is the second project developed by Rodin Cars in its state-of-the-art facilities located near Mount Lyford, on the New Zealand South Island.

These complete facilities include three test circuits specially designed by and for the brand, as well as a high-tech production plant from which each of the units of this new creation will come out. Behind this project is David Dicker, an Australian billionaire enthusiast of the world of automobile competition.

Precisely Dicker himself, in charge of the design of the V10 that powers the car, was in charge of driving the FZero just a few days ago (in a test drive) on its first outing on the track and shared his impressions about the experience. As soon as he finished driving and got out of the vehicle, Dicker stated that “it really is a car like no other.”

The model comes to compete with exclusive hypercars for the circuit from brands such as Aston Martin or Mercedes-AMG, among others. It should be remembered that Rodin Cars presented its first exclusive model for the race track only two years ago. The FZed, inspired by Formula 1, was based on a 2012 Lotus Type 125 concept car and was powered by a modified Cosworth V8 engine, capable of developing a power of 684 hp.

The new FZero was scheduled to make its official debut on the track this very 2023, but development has taken a little longer than initially planned. For this reason, it will be in 2024 when we can see it giving everything on the circuit in its production version. Rodin Cars has reported that it will only build 27 units of the car, but its price has not yet been made public.

If you are interested in seeing this stratospheric hypercar in greater detail and enjoying it in full action on the circuit, you just have to take a look at the video that accompanies this article.
