The Ukrainian engineer Sergii Gordieiev has shown that nothing is impossible when it comes to building a bicycle that escapes conventional canons. When it seemed that he could no longer overcome his latest creations, a bike with a wheel split in half, another with sprockets to move on an icy surface and a last one with square wheels, the popular Internet user shared his most recent invention on his YouTube channel. recent: a bicycle equipped with triangular wheels.

Gordieiev has unveiled his latest invention through his YouTube channel, The Q, which has more than 13 million subscribers. Under the suggestive title ‘Who said wheels have to be round?’, the video published by the Ukrainian engineer shows the entire manufacturing process of the extravagant bicycle with triangular wheels.

As he did with his previous creations, Gordieiev starts manufacturing this curious vehicle from the beginning, that is, designing by hand the parts of the bicycle that he himself is in charge of making. In the recording it is seen how the engineer has to resort to all kinds of technical solutions to finally demonstrate that it is possible to move on a bicycle with triangular wheels.

The bike handles in a similar way to any other bicycle, as we can see in the video posted by the author of this extravagant vehicle. The cyclist sits comfortably on the saddle and pedals at a rhythmic rhythm while he maintains his balance. The only peculiarity regarding bikes that we are all used to seeing is the fact that the wheels are not round, but triangular.

To achieve his goal, the youtuber designed a set of arms and rollers for each wheel so that the two wheels move linearly. The wheels are made of wood and covered with rim material to give it a more realistic appearance. But they do not have a tube and therefore do not use air or inflate.

To facilitate the rolling of the wheels, the engineer uses the help provided by two articulated arms previously anchored to the bicycle frame. Likewise, so that the cyclist always remains at the same level, the towing device is not attached to the frame. In this way, the assembly bounces to counteract the up and down movements of the wheel caused by its triangle-shaped design.

Previously, the popular youtuber who exhibits all kinds of inventions on his channel, already surprised bicycle fans with other unusual creations. He first devised a bike to move across an ice-covered surface. He replaced the traditional wheels with metal ones topped with small tooth-shaped incisions so that they can be stuck on the ice and the bike does not skid.

Other bicycles created by Gordieev do not have such a practical application. Both the bicycle that uses a split wheel and the one that incorporates two square wheels are creations that the engineer made to show that with a little imagination there is nothing that can resist him. What will be the next invention with which he will surprise us?
