The Civil Guard investigates a young man who recorded himself driving at 215 km/h on a 90 km/h road

The Civil Guard has opened an investigation into a 21-year-old man, resident in Olías del Rey (Toledo), for an alleged crime against road safety. This individual recorded himself driving at a speed of 215 kilometers per hour on a road whose limit is set at 90 km/h.

The video quickly went viral on social networks, generating indignation and concern among users, and prompting an alert from the Civil Guard.

In the images, you can clearly see the driver far exceeding the permitted speed limit, putting his life and that of other road users at serious risk. The recklessness shown in the video has provoked a strong rejection by those who had seen the video before it was deleted, who have condemned this irresponsible behavior behind the wheel.

Excessive speed is one of the main causes of traffic accidents, as it drastically reduces the driver’s reaction time and increases the severity of collisions. For this reason, the authorities are carrying out an exhaustive investigation to identify the offender and apply the corresponding sanctions.

According to the Road Safety Law, exceeding the established speed limits can lead to financial fines, the loss of points on the driving license and even prison sentences in serious cases. In this context, the driver could face harsh legal penalties for his or her reckless behavior behind the wheel.

The Civil Guard has recalled the importance of respecting traffic rules and driving responsibly to guarantee the safety of all road users. Attitudes such as those shown in the viral video are completely unacceptable and must be sanctioned with the utmost forcefulness.
