The artistic Lamborghini that has required more than 400 hours of hand painting

When we talk about automotive brands like Lamborghini, there is no doubt that any of their new products is accompanied by great expectation and, above all, a maximum level of exclusivity. However, some of their creations go even further beyond this exclusivity for very different reasons, as we will see below.

And one of the supercars from the Italian firm that has attracted attention just a few days ago has been the Revuelto Opera Unica. This vehicle, which demonstrates the almost unlimited customization possibilities offered by the model, arrives to celebrate the brand’s 60th anniversary and has been shown to the world at Art Basel Miami Beach 2023, considered the most important contemporary art fair in North America.

The appearance of this particular Revuelto does not exactly go unnoticed and is the result of the collaboration between the Centro Stile Lamborghini and the Ad Personam customization division of the Italian firm. It should be noted that the model has been hand painted in a color palette that ranges from the tone called Viola Pasifae to the one called Nero Helene, with brushstrokes that combine warm and cold colors.

To evaluate the artistic work of this creation, it must be taken into account that the development of the color combination alone required 76 hours, while the painting procedure required a full 435 hours, that is, the equivalent of 18 days of 24-hour work. of the day. It should not be overlooked that the hood of the Revuelto Opera Unica sports the Lamborghini 60th anniversary logo.

To customize the interior of the car, painstaking work was also carried out that required 220 hours. The cabin is integrated into the exterior color line with an asymmetrical design, with leather finishes covering almost all surfaces and using tones such as Nero Ade or Viola Acutus. For its part, the 60th anniversary logo appears in areas such as the seat backs or the inside of the roof.

The way the vehicle has been painted as well as the color combination have been designed to highlight the dynamic nature of this impressive supercar. The Revuelto, launched in March as a successor to the Aventador and whose production began in July, is the brand’s first V12 high-performance electrified vehicle.

The model is powered by an extraordinary 6.5-liter engine that generates 825 HP, making it Lamborghini’s most powerful V12. This mechanics works together with three electric motors of 150 HP each, two of them in charge of driving the front wheels and a third that does the same with the rear wheels.

All engines deliver an impressive combined power of 1,015 HP that allows the vehicle to “fly” from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. Continuing with its surprising level of performance, we must consider that it goes from 0 to 200 km/h in just 7 seconds and is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 350 km/h.

After being exhibited, the Revuelto Opera Unica has been sold to a collector for 1.2 million euros. To appreciate the vehicle in greater detail you just have to take a look at the video that accompanies this article.
