Peugeot’s electrification is very serious. The French brand continues to fulfill its plans and offers a 100% electrified range of cars that will soon be completed with the EV versions of the 408 and 5008.

The Peugeot 308 – also in SW version – completes its offer with its electric variant e-308, which joins the existing diesel, gasoline, Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid versions. Without aesthetic modifications compared to the rest of the range, the e-308 is available in Allure and GT finishes, both equipped with exclusive 18-inch wheels, called Ottawa.

At first glance, it is not so easy to distinguish the electric versions from the gasoline ones. For example, the charging point is located on the rear side, as if it were the mouth of the fuel tank; and at the rear, some trims have been mounted that simulate the typical exhaust outlets of internal combustion cars.

The Peugeot i-Cockpit and i-Connect Advanced services offer a specific electrical screen that offers useful information – including statistics – to the driver as an energy transmission screen that reflects electrical consumption and energy recovery. Of course, there is detailed information about the battery charge status and the possibility of programming delayed recharging.

The e-308 adopts the multi-energy platform to accommodate a battery with a gross capacity of 54 kWh, capable of generating up to 416 km of combined range in the WLTP cycle. The electric motor produces 115 kW, equivalent to 156 HP of power, and the approved consumption is 14.9 kWh/100 km.

The driver has three driving modes, normal, sport and Eco, as well as two regenerative braking modes. In the normal version, 100 kW and 250 Nm of maximum torque are available. Eco mode provides 80 kW and 220 Nm. The Sport configuration offers 115 kW and 270 Nm of torque.

For recharging, it has a 22 kW three-phase mode 3 cable and the maximum charging speed is 100 kW. The fastest charge allows you to go from 20 to 80% of the battery in 25 minutes, a time that with a 7.4 kW charger increases to 4 hours and 40 minutes. Finally, a domestic shot takes 15 hours and 50 minutes. The new generation battery, 54 kWh, allows you to exceed 400 km of autonomy

The performance of this car is satisfactory, with a maximum speed of 170 km/h, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.8 seconds and km from a standstill in 31.6 seconds. To go from 80 to 120 km/h, 6.4 seconds are needed.

Peugeot offers multiple possibilities to enjoy an e-308. Once the discounts are applied, it is available from 31,950 euros, in the Allure version, with up to 7,000 euros of the Moves Plan and with charger included. In renting mode, it is possible to opt for a monthly installment of 150 euros, with a first installment of 7,559.72 euros, a 36-month operation and with a 10,000 km annual limit.

Another product is the Peugeot Electric Easy. In this case, the fee is 186 euros, with an entry fee of 9,968 euros, duration of 48 months, 10,000 km per year and a final fee of 21,387 euros. Always, once the Moves has been discounted and with the charger included.

Electromobility is an important section for Peugeot, which offers the e-Routes app, designed for electric vehicles and which allows planning and navigating the most efficient route with the best charging points, always with updated online data.
