The Creatic Awards, a benchmark in the field of technology and business innovation, reach its 23rd edition with the aim of recognizing and rewarding the best entrepreneurial projects. Organized by the TecnoCampus and the Mataró City Council, with the support of various companies and institutions, the call seeks to promote entrepreneurship and support new initiatives that contribute to the sustainable development of the territory.

The Creatic Awards are divided into three categories. The first one will award the best business initiative in technology and innovation, with a cash prize of €12,000 and a one-year subsidized stay in the TecnoCampus business incubator. In addition, two additional prizes will be awarded, of €6,000 each, to recognize the best initiative led by women and the best project with social impact.

This year, the focus of the awards is especially focused on strategic sectors such as health, information and communication technologies (ICT), cybersecurity, 3D printing, as well as other technologies for industry 4.0, blue economy, circular economy and the video game industry. It seeks to highlight and reward entrepreneurs who are innovating and generating a positive impact in these areas, essential for the future and growth of the territory.

The Entrepreneurship Night, which will take place in November, will be the scene where the Creatic Awards will be delivered along with other recognitions to entrepreneurial initiatives from the university and Vocational Training spheres.

Applications will be accepted until October 10. The selection process will consist of a first phase, where a committee made up of representatives of the TecnoCampus and other collaborating entities will select the twelve finalist projects. They will have the opportunity to present their projects to a jury in an “elevator pitch” format, and the jury will be in charge of choosing the winners.

A notable aspect is the essential support of eight companies that, committed to the development of the territory, make possible the economic contribution of the prizes. ESED-Cyber ??Security
