Nvidia and Hewlett Packard Enterprise have joined forces to launch Nvidia AI Computing by HPE, a new portfolio of AI solutions aimed at helping enterprises accelerate the adoption of generative AI technology. This collaboration comes at a time when Nvidia has surpassed Microsoft to become the most valuable U.S. company in terms of stock valuation.

One of the key offerings in this portfolio is the HPE Private Cloud AI, which is a unique solution that integrates Nvidia AI computing, networking, and software with HPE’s AI storage, compute, and the HPE GreenLake cloud. This integration is designed to help enterprises develop generative AI applications sustainably. The HPE Private Cloud AI includes a self-service cloud experience with full lifecycle management and is available in four different configurations to support a wide range of AI workloads and use cases.

Moreover, the product suite will be made available through a joint go-to-market strategy involving sales teams, channel partners, training, and a global network of system integrators, including Deloitte, HCLTech, Infosys, TCS, and Wipro.

The AI and data software stack is powered by the Nvidia AI Enterprise software platform, which includes Nvidia NIM inference microservices. This platform is designed to accelerate data science pipelines and streamline the development of AI applications. HPE AI Essentials software complements this by offering a set of AI and data foundation tools with features to ensure compliance, explainability, and reproducibility throughout the AI lifecycle.

HPE Private Cloud AI also provides an AI infrastructure stack that includes Nvidia Spectrum-X Ethernet networking, HPE GreenLake for File Storage, and HPE ProLiant servers with support for various Nvidia GPUs. This infrastructure is geared towards enabling enterprise clients and AI professionals with the most advanced computing capabilities to expand the frontier of AI.

Antonio Neri, the President and CEO of HPE, emphasized the importance of generative AI for enterprise transformation and highlighted the collaboration with Nvidia as a way to overcome the complexities and barriers associated with AI technology. Jensen Huang, the founder and CEO of Nvidia, echoed these sentiments and emphasized the transformative power of generative AI and accelerated computing across industries.

In terms of availability, the HPE Private Cloud AI and related servers are expected to be generally available in the fall, with the HPE Cray XD670 server set to be available in the summer. These developments mark a significant step forward in the partnership between Nvidia and HPE and reflect their shared commitment to advancing AI technology for enterprises.
