The T-Cross is one of the pillars of Volkswagen’s offering in the SUV segment. Along with the Polo and the Taigo, this model is produced in the German brand’s factory located in Pamplona. The three models are among Volkswagen’s five best-selling models in the Spanish market.
The T-Cross was launched on the market in 2018 and, since then, Volkswagen Navarra has manufactured 718,220 units. It is produced exclusively for all of Europe and is exported to more than 45 countries, with Germany being the largest receiving market.
In its new delivery, this model offers a renewed design, both outside and inside. Its image highlights a new front with improvements in the lighting system with IQ technology. Light, Matrix LED headlights and the incorporation of light projection from the rearview mirrors.
The aesthetic novelties also extend to the rear, with the inclusion of an illuminated line on the tailgate that joins the new headlights with a 3D X-shaped design, a detail that reinforces the personality of the vehicle. The image of the vehicle is completed with newly designed bumpers and wheels.
The interior also presents interesting new features. The perception of quality increases thanks to the use of softer materials and smoother textures. The improvements extend to technology, with new features such as voice control, App Connect as standard, 8-inch Digital Cockpit as standard (12.5 inches in R-Line) and a new 8-inch central screen, with the option of 10.25 inches.
The Volkswagen T-Cross is one of the safest vehicles in its class. Dynamic safety is covered with driving assistants such as Travel Assist 1.0 with longitudinal and transversal guidance system, parking assistant, Front Assist and Lane Assist as standard, blind spot detector, rear view camera and ACC.
The range is available in T-Cross, Life, Más and R-Line versions. For its part, the engine offering is entrusted to efficient TSI gasoline engines with two power levels, 95 HP and 115 HP, the second with the option of DSG automatic transmission. Those most demanding with performance can enjoy a four-cylinder 1.5 TSI gasoline car, with variable geometry turbocharger, 150 HP power and ACT Plus active cylinder management system, always with seven-speed DSG automatic transmission.
The T-Cross maintains its dimensions unchanged. Its 4.13 m length makes it an SUV suitable for intense urban use and also offers optimal behavior and performance for long journeys. The German SUV debuts three colors called “Amarillo Chillooón”, “Azul Azulillo” and “Rojo Rojo, Rojo”.
The rear bench can slide by 140 mm to offer a better distance between rows of seats and the trunk has a capacity of between 385 and 466 liters. By folding the seats, the capacity increases to a maximum of 1,281 liters and by folding the passenger seat it is possible to carry skis or a surfboard inside, for example.
The new delivery of the Volkswagen T-Cross is available from 21,950 euros, or with installments from 125 euros per month. The price range extends to 31,640 euros for the 1.5 TSI R-Line version.
