The Montaner group closed 2023 with revenues of 79.6 million euros, which represents an increase of 5% compared to the previous year.

The Barcelona group provides consulting services for companies seeking to hire temporary workers, outsource services or select management positions. “We have recovered the results prior to the coronavirus pandemic and we have good prospects for the future. The rise in rates has not affected the productivity of services, whether in areas such as hospitality, the meat industry, the automotive industry or logistics,” celebrates Montaner. With these perspectives, the family company aims for 87 or 88 million euros of income at the end of this year.

In addition, the company is expanding the business beyond Catalonia, a territory where it was born and which, today, accounts for 46% of its income. “Recently, we have opened offices in Valencia, the Basque Country, Castilla y León and Andalusia and this year we plan to enter the Balearic Islands,” says Montaner, who adds that the company is also investing in technology and innovation projects.

The company has also ushered in the third generation of the business, after celebrating its fiftieth anniversary in 2023. While Joan Montaner remains CEO, his son, Pol Montaner, has been appointed director of the TQ Serveis outsourcing division and his son Marc Montaner has assumed the role of sales manager.
