An Arizona rancher, Jim Chilton, whose property is located at the end of the incomplete southern border wall, has reported encountering thousands of illegal immigrants entering the United States under the Biden-Harris administration. Chilton expressed concerns that many of these individuals may have ties to cartels or come from the Middle East.
Chilton criticized Vice President Harris’ handling of the border situation, referring to her as the “border czar” and accusing her of failing to prevent people from entering the country. He stated that on average, about 100 individuals per day have been seen coming from Mexico around the end of the wall on his property. Some of these individuals are escorted by cartel smugglers, wear camouflage, and try to evade detection.
Despite efforts to report these incidents to Border Patrol and other organizations, Chilton highlighted the ongoing challenges he faces in securing his property and the border. He mentioned encountering groups of people, including some from the Middle East, who appeared to be in distress and in need of assistance.
Chilton emphasized the need for border security and criticized the current administration for its handling of immigration policies. He pointed out that since Biden took office, he has recorded thousands of individuals on his motion-activated cameras attempting to enter the country, some disguised in camouflage attire and carpet shoes.
Former President Trump also weighed in on the border crisis, blaming the Biden-Harris administration for record levels of illegal immigration and citing the discontinuation of border wall construction and other policies. Trump highlighted recent incidents involving criminal activities by illegal immigrants, including the murder of a 12-year-old girl in Texas.
Chilton expressed frustration at the lack of law enforcement support on his remote property, where it can take significant time for deputies to respond to emergencies. He described the presence of cartel scouts in the area guiding individuals across the border, raising concerns about potential threats posed by terrorists and criminals.
In addition to individuals seeking economic opportunities, Chilton noted the diversity of nationalities among those attempting to enter the US, including people from Africa, Bangladesh, India, and the Middle East. He called for stronger border security measures to address the ongoing challenges faced by border communities.
