The check for 200 euros is one of the social measures promoted by the Government to alleviate the rise in food and energy products. The aid application ended on March 31 and an estimated four million people requested the check. The deadline to collect the aid is until June 30. However, it is possible that the applicants have not received the money. In this case, how can the aid be claimed?

Your application may not have been processed due to the magnitude of requests. Consequently, in order to find out the status of the request, you must access the website of the Tax Agency. At the headquarters of this official body, you can see if there is any problem for which the check has been delayed.

The element “Show requests in deregistration status” is used to know if the request has been deregistered. In the same way, it allows you to know if the payment is pending or if it will suffer some type of delay. Through these tools you can see if the request for the check is in the queue and if you will have to wait longer to receive the money in your checking account. In any case, the Treasury has until June 30 to make the payment.

It should be noted that in order to be a beneficiary of government aid, different requirements must be met. On the one hand, they must have an income of less than 27,000 euros per year and assets of less than 75,000 euros (not counting the habitual residence). On the other hand, the applicant must have been a worker, self-employed or self-employed, or unemployed during 2022. At the same time, neither pensioners nor beneficiaries of the Minimum Vital Income can receive the €200 aid.

To access the website of the Electronic Office of the Tax Agency, it is necessary to have activated the electronic DNI, the electronic certificate or be registered in the Cl@ve System.
