Galerías del Tresillo has launched Woman Week (Women’s Week), an initiative to offer the collective an exclusive discount of up to 21% on all its products, in a bid to eliminate the wage gap for women in Spain.
During the campaign, 90% of the buyers were women, they say from the company. “This is satisfactory data because we managed to reach the segment we wanted and provide an effective tool that has made it possible to equalize the salary difference that affects women so much,” explains Jaime Chía, managing director of Galerías del Tresillo.
The defense of women’s rights is one of the central axes of the company’s social responsibility policy. Among other projects, Galerías del Tresillo has participated in an initiative to contribute 1,000 minutes of research in the fight against breast cancer at the Vall de Hebrón Institute of Oncology.
