The chambers of commerce of Girona, Andorra, Lleida, Pyrénées Orientales and Occitanie Pyrénées-Mediterranée have promoted a project that will promote business development and sustainable entrepreneurship.

The project, named Galop, includes conferences, training, fairs or business diagnoses on both sides of the border that will allow entrepreneurs to see success stories of good sustainable practices.

They will also launch a startup accelerator to promote business projects for their launch on the market and joint awareness-raising and networking activities will be organized with the aim of training and involving companies and agents in the cross-border territory to guarantee sustainable growth.

The initiative has a budget of 1.2 million euros, of which 65% is co-financed by the European Union, and will last for three years. This is not the first time that the chambers of these territories join forces. In 2012 they joined together to promote their business relationships
