Aston Martin returns to the fray with a high-performance supercar, which has already been driven by Fernando Alonso himself, driver of its Formula 1 team (see the video attached at the end of this article). After the successful launch last year of the DB 12 Coupe and the DB12 Volante, the British company puts the new Vantage on the road.

The refined front-engine, rear-wheel drive chassis of the 2024 Vantage is, without a doubt, one of the hallmarks of this Aston Martin model. According to the executive director of the English firm, Amedeo Felisa, it is a “world-class” sports car that has “addictive qualities.” And the generous features of the Aston Martin Vantage are completed with a completely new interior and a cutting-edge infotainment system.

The new Vantage has a 4-liter biturbo V8 engine and two handcrafted turbochargers. With 665 HP of maximum power and 800 Nm of torque, it represents the greatest increase in power and torque compared to any previous version. This was achieved through detailed adjustments by Aston Martin engineers, with modifications to cam profiles, optimized compression ratios, larger turbochargers and increased cooling, resulting in an engine with a more precise, visceral and energetic personality.

The newly launched Vantage is equipped with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, allowing it to reach a top speed of 325 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. Starting from a standstill has been improved with the introduction of a new Launch Control system.

The Vantage’s advanced aluminum structure, together with perfect weight distribution and cutting-edge suspension, ensure an exceptional driving experience. Manufactured using cutting-edge Aston Martin techniques, its reinforced bodywork offers more precise and exciting dynamics, with greater torsional rigidity thanks to underbody reinforcements.

The rear of the Vantage maintains its distinctive appearance, now highlighting the air vents behind the front wheels, while the new wheel arches house 21-inch forged wheels. The structure of these lightweight wheels has been designed using simulation tools to eliminate every extra gram of mass, without compromising strength or aesthetics.

The Vantage stands out for its advanced vehicle dynamics control system, which uses information from sensors in the car and the driver to adjust the ESP system. This enables precise management of ride, maneuverability and steering in various weather conditions and driving scenarios.

Engine power is sent through an eight-speed automatic transmission and an electronic rear differential (E-Diff). Unlike a standard limited slip differential, this system works with ESP to actively improve stability, offering precise traction control and improving vehicle agility and stability.

Integrated Brake Skid Control (IBC) uses an advanced anti-lock braking system (ABS) to improve both stopping distance and also control wheel slip during braking.

The new generation of Vantage is revolutionary, taking the One-77 supercar as a source of inspiration. The body is 30 cm wider and with a sportier presence, enhanced by an opening in the grille. The new integrated splitter, with a wider and lower presence, adds spectacularity and aerodynamics to gain stability at high speeds. The distinctive front-end approach has been finished off with an all-new matrix LED headlight design, featuring integrated lights and Aston Martin’s new lighting signature.

The length also increases another 3 cm to grow to 4.50 meters, while the height adds a few millimeters to reach 1.28 meters.

The new generation of Vantage offers an impressive proposition with a completely new super-luxury interior where the driver experiences a great feeling of space and clarity. It highlights a new generation digital instrument panel and the perfectly integrated 10.25-inch infotainment system screen, as well as a wide range of physical controls at the bottom of the center console.

The hand-stitched leather creates a comfortable and inviting space, while the driver-focused driving position and sport seats offer exceptional grip and unparalleled functionality for maximum enjoyment of every ride. Standard equipment includes a 390 W audio system with 11 speakers.
