Female gamer sentenced to 116 years in prison

The former gamer Shayene ‘shAy’ Victorio is in his home country, Brazil, has been sentenced to 116 years in prison for embezzlement. It writes the brazilian ESPN.

In the years 2013-2017 has she namely along with her former husband operated a site with extensive online sales. The problem was simply that 118 of the customers never received the goods they had ordered.

What are the goods, in question, are reporting the story, nothing about – but it must be quite serious. Penalties in Brazil for the kind of crimes is 30 years, so a sentence of 116 years works very hard. And in practice permits the brazilian law no longer to punish than 30 years – if Shay Victorio else can find comfort in it.

She seems now not to be knocked out of it, and she has since also intend to appeal the verdict. In each case she has on her Instagram account, posted a statement in which she protests her innocence:

‘I’m not arrested, and nor will I be. I’m not even wanted, as people might claim. It is an action that regards one of my ex-husband problems, and it has hit me. As we went from each other, he took responsibility for it 100 percent,’ she writes, among other things.

the Defense have in court also stated that the problems with the lack of orders may not have been the intention, and that it is eksmanden, who has been responsible.

the 27-year-old ShAy was in 11 years professional gamer – only with Counterstrike 1.6 and later CS:GO, where she was among the best female players. She stopped as active last year, where she instead began to eke out as a model.
