On February 23, an unusual scene occurred on a French highway. A skydiver ended up landing on this high-speed road, forcing drivers to stop. The event took place near Bastia, on the island of Corsica (France). That day, several soldiers were carrying out parachuting training maneuvers in the area, and one of them was forced to land in a place as inopportune as the highway.
According to Corse Matin, the parachute regiment made several jumps during the day, without registering any problems. However, the wind suddenly picked up when one of the men jumped from the plane and ended up landing on the highway.
Luckily, the motorists had reflexes and, despite driving at high speed (the limit allowed in that section is 110 km/h) they stopped the vehicle in time to avoid hitting the soldier, who very quickly went behind the vehicle. guardrail and quickly picked up his parachute so as not to impede the passage of road users. Some of them recorded the scene and shared it on social networks. The video has also been published by the Social Drive platform on X (formerly Twitter).
