Cristiano Ronaldo goes with his new 3 million euro Ferrari to the Portuguese national team concentration

Cristiano Ronaldo has just got his new car and, as usual, it is an exclusive model and affordable for very few pockets. The Portuguese footballer took advantage of his stay in Lisbon, when he was called up to play for his country’s national team, to travel the first kilometers behind the wheel of a new hypercar. It is a Ferrari Daytona SP3 with 840 horsepower that has a price of 3 million euros plus extras.

The former Real Madrid footballer arrived at the Portugal national team concentration hotel aboard his brand new sports car. In a video published on Instagram by the user lisbon.cars you can see how the Portuguese international gets out of the car, which he leaves in the care of a hotel employee, and heads towards the entrance of the establishment.

CR7’s new car is a Ferrari Daytona SP3, a limited production model that is part of Ferrari’s Icona range, which also includes the Monza SP1 and SP2. Its silhouette is inspired by the racing cars of the 1960s, with an aerodynamically optimized design that combines elements of Ferrari’s historical style with details of current models.

As far as its mechanics are concerned, the Daytona SP3 is equipped with the most powerful internal combustion engine in the history of the Prancing Horse brand. Under its hood it houses a naturally aspirated V12 engine that delivers a total of 840 HP and 697 Nm of torque. It reaches a maximum speed of 340 km/h and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.85 seconds.

The exclusivity of Cristiano Ronaldo’s sports car lies in the fact that only 599 units have been manufactured, which makes it a Ferrari jewel with extremely limited availability. In addition, the model is personalized with the headrests embroidered with its CR7 initials, thus adding an exclusive touch.

This is at least the third Ferrari to enter Cristiano Ronaldo’s garage. The current Al-Nassr player, of the relaunched Saudi Arabian league, has previously been seen driving two models from the Maranello facilities. Among them are the Purosangre, Ferrari’s first SUV that combines elegance and sporting performance, and the F12 TDF, a special edition of the F12 berlinetta that pays tribute to the Tour de France.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s passion for high-end sports cars has been a constant since more than two decades ago he signed his first professional contract with Sporting Lisbon. His garage has housed real gems such as a Bugatti Chiron, a Lamborghini Aventador or a Bentley Flying Spur, a plug-in hybrid with about 40 kilometers of electric range.

However, perhaps the most exclusive model of all is the Bugatti Centodieci with which he was seen in March of last year in Madrid. The French brand, currently under the mantle of the Volkswagen Group, only built 10 units of this model on the occasion of the brand’s 110th anniversary.

The Centodieci has a price of 8 million euros, before taxes. However, according to various sources, it is speculated that the Portuguese international could have paid up to 10 million euros for exclusive customizations. The sports car manufactured for the occasion is equipped with an eight-liter W16 engine with four turbos and delivers a power of 1,600 HP.
