Coca-Cola EP will replace Francesc Cosano with Ana Callol in the general direction of Iberia

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners is preparing to replace its general director of Iberia, Francesc Cosano, who is retiring after 35 years in the company, handing over the position to Ana Callol, currently responsible for Public Affairs, Communication and Sustainability of the company. The period of transfer of functions will begin on September 1, and will end on January 1, 2025, in which Callol will assume her new position.

Both directors are part of the management committee of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and participate in the design and execution of the bottler’s strategy, which will provide continuity to the activity of the business unit in Spain and Portugal, which is the one with the highest turnover. at European level.

In the 35 years that he has been at the soft drinks multinational, Francesc Cosano has directed the Iberia business unit since the integration that gave rise to Coca-Cola European Partners in 2015.

Previously, he was managing director of Coca-Cola Iberian Partners, a position he assumed after being director of operations. In addition, he participated in the integration of eight Spanish bottlers, including Cobega, a company in which he held several positions such as ‘deputy general director’ and commercial director.

“In these 35 years I have had the opportunity to work with an excellent group of people who have been the architect of what is now Coca-Cola Europacific Partners. I want to thank the management committee and the entire board of directors for the trust in this time “, he assured.

Cosano has also not hesitated to highlight Callol, who will take over from him in office. “I am convinced that the success of our business in Spain and Portugal is assured in his figure. We have worked a lot together, both in the management committee of the Iberia business unit and, now, in the global management committee, and the commitment to it and internal talent ensures an exemplary transition,” he explained.

In addition to his experience at Coca-Cola, Cosano has led other positions at Grupo Pascual and at UDV-Angloespañola de Distribución, a subsidiary of the Diageo group.

However, as of January 2025, the manager will continue to be linked to the bottler, as he will continue to represent CCEP at an institutional level in different associations.

In her role as ‘chief PACS officer’, Ana Callol has led global strategic issues for the firm such as public affairs, sustainability and communication in the 31 countries of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, combining the strategic vision that this function requires with business objectives.
