The commercial court number 2 of Barcelona will hold from July 3 to July 7 and next July 11 the opposition trial to the approval of the debt restructuring plan of Celsa, a Catalan family multinational specialized in the treatment of steel.
The trial will be held in an auditorium in the City of Justice that will give access to anyone who wants to follow the hearing as well as the media. According to a statement from the TSJC, the trial will be held in morning and afternoon sessions. The sessions will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Celsa’s trial occurs because of a complex legal process by which the debt’s creditors want to convert their liabilities into company shares, an operation that is opposed by the Rubiralta family, owner of the multinational.
