CAREIUM & CSL Extend Partnership with Launch of rSIM® Technology

news-22062024-002215

Careium and CSL have recently announced the extension of their partnership with the launch of the innovative rSIM® technology. This new technology is the world’s first truly resilient and intelligent SIM card that actively monitors connectivity and switches profiles to ensure maximum uptime. The rSIM technology will be available in all 4G products within Careium’s Eliza range of Technology-Enabled Care solutions, including devices that are already in use.

One of the key benefits of the rSIM technology is its ability to provide local roaming to all networks on both profiles and access to CSL’s VPN infrastructure. This new patented technology allows the SIM card to check its own network connectivity and automatically switch providers in case of disruptions, reducing the risk of disconnection during outages. With two independent mobile operator profiles stored on a single SIM card, the rSIM significantly reduces the chances of outages by switching to a backup profile when needed.

Christian Walén, CEO of Careium, expressed his excitement about this new innovation, stating that it is a milestone that they have been working on for years. He emphasized the importance of minimizing service risks caused by connectivity disruptions and how the rSIM technology revolutionizes connectivity resilience by constantly monitoring available networks to establish the best connection route. This partnership between Careium and CSL ensures the highest level of Critical Connectivity for TEC devices, providing users with a sense of security and peace of mind.

Ed Heale, CEO of CSL, also highlighted the significance of this partnership extension and the deployment of the rSIM technology. He mentioned that after working closely with Careium for nearly 15 years, this new technology is a crucial step in their vision to offer uninterrupted connectivity solutions to the sector. The combination of CSL’s managed service and rSIM’s patented technology ensures maximum uptime and minimal downtime, contributing to the delivery of a world-class TEC solution.

Overall, the launch of the rSIM technology represents a significant advancement in the field of Technology-Enabled Care, offering users a more secure and reliable connectivity experience. This partnership extension between Careium and CSL demonstrates their ongoing commitment to innovation and quality, ultimately benefiting vulnerable individuals across Europe.
