On February 26, the new Renault 5 will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. The legendary model returns to the automotive scene in electric car format. It will have a range that will reach 400 kilometers and will have bidirectional charging, so that the energy stored in its battery will be able to power other external devices, from a computer to a vacuum cleaner.
Produced at the French factory in Douai, it will have at least 22% of its parts made from recycled materials, while 85% of the car will be recyclable. Likewise, the Renault 5 E-Tech will be the first vehicle to incorporate the interactive Reno avatar. This intelligent assistant, represented by a blue and yellow diamond with a smiley face, wants to be the perfect co-pilot. Its creator was Luc Julia, the same one who conceived the Apple assistant, Siri.
The presentation of this model is very important for Renault. For this reason, he wanted to accompany it with 5 creations – this figure is a nod to the name of the iconic model – developed with as many European start-ups. Each of them is a solution for mobility in a natural element: land, water, air and snow. They all have two denominators in common: they are yellow and they show the number that identifies the iconic car.
