A total of twelve projects are eligible for the Entrepreneurship and Creativity award convened by the Girona Business Orientation Association (aGOe), made up of retired or active entrepreneurs or managers, who altruistically advise and guide those who need help in their businesses.

The winner and finalist of this third edition will be announced at the end of January at an event to be held at the Girona Chamber of Commerce. This year, Jordi Bayer, founding partner of aGOe, who died last June, will be honored.

The projects will be evaluated by a jury, made up of two representatives of this non-profit entity, two members representing the Chamber of Commerce of Girona and two more representatives of the University of Girona (UdG).

This year the financial prize for the award has been increased, which will be 2,000 euros for the first prize, and 1,000 euros for the finalist.

The president of aGOe, Joaquim Munné, values ??the high participation of this edition, which exceeds the two previous ones held so far. Munné also highlights the quality of the projects presented, which he assures are “very consistent, innovative and with a high probability of success.” Business ideas, companies or businesses that are already in operation can be submitted for the award.

Apart from the financial award, the winner will have technical support from aGOe for one year. The entity is made up of professionals and former senior managers who voluntarily offer their time and experience to guide new entrepreneurs and companies.

The association has acquired the commitment to “work voluntarily to promote and improve the management of the economic activities of the self-employed and small businesses.”
