A mechanic tries to put a gasoline engine into a Tesla and people are amazed: 'It wouldn't be worth it'

Electric cars are increasingly gaining ground in the automobile fleet. The increasing restrictions on circulation mean that sales of this type of vehicle are increasing exponentially.

If a brand is a pioneer in the use of electric motors, it is the American Tesla. Founded by tycoon Elon Musk, it is already common to see its Model S on the roads and even as mobility cars such as taxis.

However, that doesn’t mean they are loved by everyone. Purist motor lovers think that electric cars break the essence of what traditional vehicles are.

Many times you can see crazy images, such as the video that the famous mechanic Ángel Gaitán has uploaded to TikTok, known for recording in his mechanical workshop the situations in which he finds himself involved when cars are brought in for repair.

In a video that already has more than two million views, he tests to see if he could put a gasoline engine inside a Tesla. “I have the gap,” says Ángel, who takes the opportunity to criticize the state of the cabin: “Look at how this rust and sulfate thing is.”

Many people in the comments have been amazed by the possibility of seeing a Tesla with a conventional engine. Others tell him that in the United States they have done it several times and that it is possible to do it. While some say that it is not worth it because it would cost a lot of work and money.
