Xavier Gabriel, owner and founder of the administration La Bruixa d'Or de Sort, dies

The owner and founder of the administration La Bruixa d’Or de Sort, Xavier Gabriel, died this Saturday, according to the Catalan News Agency (ACN).

Known for being the owner of the lottery administration that sells the most in the State, he was a pioneer in the sale of tickets online and managed to win more than 60 million euros per draw.

It also introduced rafting in the Pallars Sobirà region, thus helping the economic recovery of the territory. At the age of 27, he left banking for the business world and during his career as an entrepreneur he has received 32 awards.

Gabriel also explained his experiences in 2002 in the book The creator of La Bruixa d’Or and revealed Las 13 claves de la Sort in 2008.
