As of today, the drums of Holy Week return to tour the main cities of our country. The penitents will put on their best clothes to receive the religious parades that will take to the streets between Sunday, April 2 (Palm Sunday) and Sunday, April 9 (Resurrection Sunday).
Like every year, thousands of people will live this week with special enthusiasm, since it is considered one of the most popular traditions in Spain. For those who cannot attend and see the steps live, there is the option of using the streaming services of the main Spanish media, since some channels dedicate part of their space to broadcasting the main Holy Week processions.
The public channel resumes the broadcasts of Holy Week from Mérida, declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest. As reported by RTVE, the processions will be broadcast live on RTVE television channels, streaming through the web and on its mobile and television applications.
The regional public television channels of the Federation of Autonomous Radio and Television Organizations (FORTA) resume the programming for Easter, with special content and content focused on religious acts that are celebrated in each region and entertainment programming. In addition, the Holy Week processions are once again broadcast live through these channels.
From Palm Sunday, April 2, it broadcasts in the afternoon the departure to the street of the processions of the Community of Madrid (from 3:00 p.m.)
The cameras of Canal Sur will show the best programmes, videos and unique moments of the Semana Mayor de AndalucÃa.
The regional channel will offer 18 hours of live broadcast from Palm Sunday to Good Friday, with a team of fifty people distributed throughout the three provinces and with special attention to those Holy Weeks declared of International Tourist Interest, that of Zaragoza capital and that of Bajo Aragón.
Processions will also be broadcast from the capital Teruel, Alcañiz, Jaca, Tarazona or Alcalá de Gurrea. The broadcast can also be followed on the streaming of Aragón TV and Aragón Cultura.
All the processions of Holy Week in Elche can be followed live on Elche 7TV. The broadcast will begin on Palm Sunday, a Festival of international tourist interest, at 11:30 in the morning.
Starting at 7:00 p.m. and from the Plaza de Baix set, spectators will live live all the processions with a wide technical and human deployment to get closer to the most special moments with great detail.
Castilla y León Television (CyLTV) will broadcast every day the main processions of Holy Week in the Community. From March 30, Passion Thursday, to Easter Sunday, the chain will offer more than 70 connections with the most emblematic events that take place throughout these ten days.
