If you’re looking to grab a copy of the Chicago Reader in print, you’re in luck! The City of Chicago has 86 Multirack newspaper boxes located in South Loop, downtown, near north locations, and at Midway Airport. These boxes are taken care of by JCDecaux.
You can find the Reader in all Multirack boxes on Wednesdays and Thursdays of the week when a new issue is released. They are then restocked the following Tuesday with more copies. To easily locate these boxes, you can refer to the Chicago Reader Distribution Map and look for listings like “RDR MOD BOX Cross Streets, Address Zip Code.”
Mark your calendars for the next print issue of the Chicago Reader, which will be released on August 22, 2024. Distribution to various locations will begin on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
