As one of her finest friends Frankie Rodriguez stated, it was as though she had been”two individuals”: the siren who wed an 89-year-old billionaire and the shy, innocent, small-town Texas woman desperately working to encourage her son and make something of herself.
“Any rather camera, you simply cried her name,’Anna Nicole.’ When she turned about, it turned out on the place; you found Anna Nicole.”
“The moment that camera it turned into a whole other man. “I [am] blessed to have met and gotten to know Vickie Lynn… The way she did it, I do not understand. However, whatever she was performing, it had been making everyone “
Individuals who loved her watched her as she was. They recall how she fought to encourage her loved ones and establish that she adored her husband and penalizing part of his luck. “If she went to college , in Mexia, she had been miserable,” McLemore said. “She had been having difficulty with being bullied. Now, I believe, after all she had been through… all of the struggles in her own life, she was eventually fed up”
McLemore recalled hanging out with Smith on the face of the regional streets.
“There was nothing else to do this,” she explained, laughing. “There is no picture theaters. I mean there was not Starbucks or something.
She explained Smith could come in daily.
“She would order a huge beverage. But she always seemed really sad for mepersonally,” McLemore said. “When she began working , we instantly hit it off… One of those memories I have of her is, we would sit together and stare from the windowand watch traffic go by.”
“She had been perfect for me personally.
Smith began dating the fry cook in the restaurant, Billy Smith, and so longthey had been wed, making her Vickie Smith, McLemore said.
“They’re so young.
From now Anna Nicole was 19, Billy Smith was from this film. Back in 1986, she introduced her baby son to Houston, without a high school diploma or employment abilities to talk of. She worked for a little while in a Walmart and Red Lobster, then decided to try out another leadership.
To supply Daniel, who had been residing with her mum, Smith worked as a dancer in a strip clubwhere she chose for himself. She started to undergo breast augmentation surgeries to improve her figure.
His wife had passed away and Lady Walker, a brassy exotic dancer whom he had a 10-year connection, had died.

A buddy sent photographs of Smith into some scout for Playboy, who hired her to the book. McLemore did not think it .
“About 1992, my uncle called me that dwelt here and stated,'[Smith]… left Playboy,'” she explained. He said,’She left Playboy.’ And I said,’She didn’t.’ Get the magazine'”
She sensed dueling feelings regarding her friend’s achievement.

Smith said she had been taking prescription medication for insomnia and migraines.
“I’d Vicodin and Xanax. [These are] prescription medications that I must take,” she explained in 1994. “I meanI do not look at that hard medications. It will not make me . I have been carrying it for ages. It merely helps my headaches”
Back in 1994, she chose to marry Marshall.
“It was not about the money, and she loved this guy,” Martino said. “She’d sit alongside him with her legs on the sofa him over. And he’d laugh and they were happy and communicative with each other as two people might be.”
However, their union — and their 63-year era gap — became a punchline throughout pop culture. After just half a year, Marshall fell sick.
“She adored him. Really loved him .”
However, Marshall’s son, Pierce Marshall, limited Smith’s accessibility for her husband since he was expiring. In addition, he cut off her financially.
Back in 1995, Martino recalled breaking the news of Marshall’s departure to Smith at New York.
“She simply bowed her head… and she began crying.”
“He understood me when I was no one and that is what folks don’t know, and I really don’t beg na be referred to as a golden digger because I am not. I could have married him a week later we met, or 2 weeks later we met. I could have married him years earlier, and I did not. I moved out and that I made something of myself”
Marshall’s departure lacked decades of acrimony and courtroom battles between the widow and Marshall’s son. They went to court fearing what to do with his or her remains.
She chose Pierce Marshall to court to receive her share.
It was a dark period for Smith.
“She was not doing anything she had been attempting to locate her next big thing”
Now, Smith was undergoing treatment for chemical abuse. She had been prescribed a variety of medication to handle everything from migraines to gut problems and back pain from enhancements into seizures.
The press lit into her to her medication usage but was likewise vicious in their attacks about her burden.
“It is challenging. I meanI went through a whole lot. You know, folks, once I gained a great deal of weight… folks thought I was like, partying, doing this and that,” she explained in 2000. “I mean, I am having migraines, I am having anxiety attacks. My husband just died and people believe I do not care.”

“She had been back. Larger and bigger than life,” he explained. “She could not be happier in the moment.”
This was around the time that she began communicating Larry Birkhead.
“The very first time that I encountered Anna was my own hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, functioning in the Kentucky Derby. “I looked at her and I said,’There is something about her… she is simply amazing.’ So I spoke to her, I cried with her and we exchanged this kiss”
Rodriguez said she was”really smitten” with Birkhead, who stated he felt as though he had seen another facet of Smith when he photographed her in a kids’ camp charity affair.
“I must rather watch Anna hanging out with all the children,” he explained. “It was [a] stripped-down variant of the little Texas woman I actually appreciated.”
Birkhead said that is when Smith abruptly started to push him off.
“She actually said that she had been pregnant, which Larry was the dad. She adored him,” Rodriguez explained. “She was really pleased with him. I really don’t understand what happened. I really don’t understand how it got to where it obtained.”
Smith and Stern transferred to the Bahamas to the final portion of her maternity.
“Her and I, we have really had communicating when she had been at the Bahamas,” Rodriguez explained. “The discussions would happen in the middle of the night… I do not know if she had been doin’ it since she did not want Howard to listen “
Two days after, she was united in the hospital with her son, Daniel, as she recuperated.
Although his cause of death was determined for a drug overdose, the question of where he obtained among those medication remains unanswered.
Daniel really had a prescription for Lexapro, and he had been taking Zoloft because he had been worried about his flight. Smith was taking methadone for decades, but it is not clear if he secretly took it from her.
“With the attractiveness of the arrival of a baby and then the reduction of your love, your kid, at precisely the exact same bed,” he explained. “She only began to mentally, began to cave “
While in the Bahamas, Smith met with a local couple, Brigitte Neven and King Eric Gibson, also discovered some peace heading out in their ship.
“We’d take individuals out fishing. Then, 1 day, a man came and explained why not choose Anna Nicole fishing?” Neven explained. “From then on… she chose to phone King Eric’dad’ and called me’mummy.’ And thenthey were only a part of their household “
Birkhead said Smith watched Neven as a motherly figure”since she had been calming and religious.”
“She had been attracted to households… because she did not have this,” Martino said.
Neven recalls Smith loved being around the ship.
“She had been totally different. She was only being liberated,” she explained.
Smith loved it so much she looked in to purchasing her own ship. She discovered you in Florida, and left Stern and other people to pick this up. It’d be the last time she watched her infant.
Before she left, Smith had been given a chance of human growth hormone and vitamin B12 in her left side, which she was taking to keep her weight. But throughout the trip, her unwanted began to hurt, and from the time she reached the resort, she had been quite ill, with a fever of 105 degrees.
Even though the individuals with her encouraged her to visit the hospital, she denied.
Birkhead said he was not surprised she was not taken to the hospital.
“The media could find out she had been there and then turn it into a large headline and she did not need.”
During the upcoming few days, she had been ill and listless. She needed an observable infection.
Neven remembered Stern needed to assist her into the toilet.
Stern left a couple of hours after to maintain the appointment to take a look at the ship Anna expected to purchase, the main reason for the visit to Florida.
“There was something wrong. She seemed like she had been sleeping but I noticed she was not sleeping. However, I understood that she was not breathing. There was no chest movement and after that it exploded.”
Neven told the spouse of Smith’s bodyguard to phone 911, but she phoned her husband, who also called Stern. As this was occurring, the bodyguard’s spouse attempted to resuscitate Smith.
Finally the bodyguard Maurice Brighthaupt arrived in the hotel and called 911, but 38 moments had passed. Emergency employees arrived to the scene and attempted to revive her.
“I began getting a bit emotional, and I just started crying her name,” Brighthaupt, stated. Dannielynn requires you.’ I want you. Most of us want you.'”
She had been attracted to the hospital, where she had been declared dead.
In passing, play followed Smith. Even though Birkhead and her mum desired Smith murdered in Texas, finally a judge ruled that Smith must be buried at the Bahamas, alongside her son Daniel, as Stern proposed.
Stern said he and Smith had a connection and he had been the dad. Finally, Birkhead’s legal team managed to receive a sample of the infant’s DNA.
Birkhead recalls the moment he had been decided to become Danielynn’s biological dad.
“I am in this Bahamas court… They started the envelope, and they stated that Larry Birkhead is your dad,” he explained. “I remember putting my thoughts in my hands and also for a single minute I caught myself looking over my shoulder I had been turning into Anna like she was gon na na be appropriate there.”
“She smiled at me and she had been laughing,” he explained.
He explained that Stern educated him her regular and how to feed and change her.
“For this day Howard was encouraging, Birkhead said. “Practically [as though ] the exact same devotion he needed for Anna has carried over to me and Dannielynn.”
“Dannielynn, she’s a huge heart like her mother had,” he explained of his currently 14-year-old daughter.
Fourteen years after Smith’s departure, Rodriguez states it”still strikes the same… as though it had been yesterday. Probably because there’s a lot of unanswered questions”
McLemore stated she wishes she can”go back in time” and inform Smith,”that I really like her very much and that I miss her”
“This is a small-town woman who went into the Supreme Court two a Playboy Bunny, a Guess model, an actress, which came out of the sticks of Mexia at Texas,” Birkhead said. “You could not make this up, also it occurred. She lived quickly and she dwelt large… She inspired a great deal of people. I believe she changed a great deal of lives. That is why I believe, for this day, there is still a fascination with Anna Nicole, and I believe there’ll be for quite a while.”
