Visit to the Salvador Dalí Birthplace

The Salvador Dalí Birthplace is located on Monturiol Street in Figueres and, thanks to the city council that has restored it and turned it into a museum, it can now be visited, as we have done in La Vanguardia’s Readers’ Photos.

There is also a space where works by Dalí, from various museums or collections, are temporarily exhibited.

The restoration of the building has made it possible to recreate Dalí’s most personal environment during his childhood, as well as remember the people he met and who had the most influence during his student training and his first years, as an adult.

Everything together is a fun way to learn more about Dalí’s origins and first artistic steps. The tour is full of images and audios that explain the entire process of the artist’s birth and training.

Furthermore, without leaving Figueres, in the Plaça Gala-Salvador Dalí we can find the Teatre Museu – Dalí, without a doubt, another attraction to learn more about the life and work of this artist.
