A freighter crashes into one of the central pillars of the bridge and then the 2.5 kilometer-long structure collapses into the river. A fixed camera in the port of Baltimore (east coast of the United States) captured the collapse of the Francis Scott Key metal bridge after the cargo ship hit one of its pillars.

The collision occurred around 01:30 local time (05.30 GMT) and at the time of the accident several vehicles were traveling on the bridge.
