The interpreter of Nochentera, who just a few weeks ago was once again the protagonist on social networks due to her controversial words in which she showed her political ideologies; She shared a Story of hers through her Instagram account that has not left any of her followers indifferent.
“The haters will say: ‘Face to the sun.’ I say: ‘The sun is on your face,'” the Catalan singer wrote while she posed in her car, with the sunlight caressing her face. Obviously, dozens of users on social networks have not been able to avoid echoing this new provocation from the Catalan.
“We are not haters, we are democrats,” reminds one of the users of X (former Twitter), where Vicco’s Story has already gone viral. The singer spoke out in this way after she was accused of having extreme right-wing ideology, after saying that she would not ‘match’ with Pedro Sánchez after receiving the award for Best Spanish Newcomer at the LOS40 Music Awards gala.
Many TikTok users, however, defend the Catalan woman saying whatever she wants: “Why do you care so much about what people vote for? What a nightmare!”. “You bring politics even into the music industry, canceling singers who have nothing to do with it. Live and let live,” insists another.
At the end of November, the Catalan admitted in an interview with El Mundo that she does not usually talk about politics “because she does not control much” and that she dedicates herself to making music. Likewise, she also doesn’t like to talk bad about anyone. Therefore, when she was asked during the Los40 awards, she decided not to point out any flaws in Isabel Díaz-Ayuso.
“I was playing a game. In the end, they are words taken completely out of context because I have never positioned myself nor will I,” she insisted, adding that she: “I make music.”
Regarding her refusal to have dinner with Sánchez, the Catalan explains: “When I said it I was playing to choose who I would have a date with. I may not want to have a date with Pedro Sánchez or with anyone.”
