Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro become two vampires who roam the streets of Barcelona at night in the new video clip that they have released this Thursday as part of the promotion of their recent joint EP, RЯ.

The couple walks through various streets in the center of the city of Barcelona equipped with their fangs, clad in fur coats and crucifixes, and on their journey they do not hesitate to make a stop to feed not on blood but on some traditional churros in a typical kiosk to street foot

This production that puts images on the subject of Vampires has been produced by Canada, which has already put its signature to some of the most famous videos of the Catalan artist at the beginning of her international takeoff.

The video clip has been directed by the 23-year-old Colombian-American Stillz, responsible in turn for other works for artists such as Bad Bunny in Yo perreo sola or La noche de anoche.

The city of Barcelona was already a reference in the lyrics of the song, as it appears in some of its most emblematic verses: “My pistol / It has no insurance, it shoots itself / It’s from Barcelona, but it’s in Carola / She’s not a follower , she is the wave”.

As Sony Music explained in a press release, the journey of both artists represents “a road map of their relationship from the past to the present, with indications of what the future holds for them.”

The release of Vampiros comes just a few hours before Rosalía will take the stage at the Coachella festival in the US, in anticipation of another important concert that she will offer at the famous Zócalo in Mexico City on April 28 and of the performances that are committed to in June as part of the Primavera Sound festival in both Barcelona and Madrid.

For his part, Rauw Alejandro will conclude the US leg of his Saturno World Tour with two concerts in Los Angeles on April 27 and 28. The Mexican part of the tour will begin on May 20, until it disembarks in Spain from August 26 in Valencia.
