Two men have died in Mallorca in similar circumstances in less than 12 hours. The Civil Guard has taken charge of the investigation and is now trying to clarify the facts that, in principle, are not related.
This morning, at 8:30 a.m., on Pere Vaquer Ramis street in Magaluf, a man of about 70 years old fell from the third floor. According to IB3, the victim fell at the back of the building, specifically in a garage located outdoors.
Numerous patrols from the Calvià Local Police, Civil Guard and SAMU061 ambulances have traveled to the site. Upon his arrival, paramedics tried to resuscitate the victim but ultimately they could not do anything and the man died.
This is the second death in less than 12 hours in Mallorca due to something similar.
On Friday night, another man, 82, died after falling from a second floor in Son Servera. The victim fell in the interior patio of the building.
The Local Police of Son Servera rushed to the scene and began basic resuscitation maneuvers. Shortly after, two ambulances from SAMU 061 and another from the PAC of Son Servera arrived.
After about 45 minutes trying to revive the man, the paramedics were only able to confirm his death.
The Civil Guard has taken charge of the investigation into both deaths and is now trying to clarify the facts.
