The National Police have arrested two men, aged 39 and 30, in Marbella (Málaga) as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of injuries and threats. Those arrested were surprised by several people, one of them the National Police on duty, cutting the mooring ropes of a boat at the facilities of the Marbella fishing port and, when recriminated by them, threatened them with a knife and a pistol. fire, which turned out to be simulated.

Thus, they began an escape through the jetty area in which the off-duty agent and his companion pursued the suspects who, while trying to escape, came across another user of the facilities who was talking on his mobile phone.

Upon reaching him, one of them demanded that he hand over the terminal, while threatening him, causing a struggle that led to both rushing into a docked boat, resulting in the witness being stabbed in the chest.

At that moment, the national police officer arrived at the scene of the attack and, after identifying himself as such, tried to arrest the attackers. Both had thrown their gun and knife into the sea and had thrown themselves into the water, leading to a swimming chase that ended with their arrest after the arrival of a ‘zeta’ callsign.

The two detainees were transferred to a medical center for their assistance, before entering the local police station in Marbella as detainees. For his part, the injured person was assisted by medical personnel at the scene and was later transferred and admitted to the hospital.

To recover the weapon and knife thrown into the sea, the urgent collaboration of a diver from the Marbella Fire Department was requested. After a quick action, he managed to recover the weapons from the fund and deliver them to the group of judicial police from the Marbella Police Station that had taken charge of the investigation. The alleged firearm turned out to be a simulated revolver, with the appearance of a real weapon.
