Two men and a woman have drowned this Tuesday on the Marenys beach in Tavernes de la Valldigna (Valencia), in an event in which firefighters and members of the Red Cross have been mobilized who have not been able to revive them.
As reported by the Valencia Provincial Firefighters Consortium, troops from the Gandía park have mobilized at 6:20 p.m. in the afternoon to a rescue service on the Marenys beach.
The victims were two men who had been able to get other bathers out of the water and a woman who was pulled out by members of the Red Cross, and all of them were unconscious.
Firefighters, the Local Police of Tavernes de la Valldigna and the Red Cross have started cardiopulmonary resuscitation until the arrival of the health media, who have taken over the maneuvers but have not been able to revive the bathers, who have died.
The Civil Guard remains in charge of the case, according to the same sources from the Provincial Firefighters Consortium.
