Two arrested for the crime of a 21-year-old young man in Seville after a fight

The National Police has confirmed today that it has made two arrests related to the death of a 21-year-old young man that took place this Sunday in the Santa Clara neighborhood of Seville.

Apparently, the boy died from stab wounds after a fight between groups. Although the emergency services went to the scene to treat the victim and tried to revive him, they could only certify his death.

The event occurred on Macedonia Street in the Santa Clara neighborhood and the 112 Andalucía emergency service received the first of the calls at 7:55 a.m. alerting them to the presence of a boy lying on the bloody ground at the intersection of Villas de Cuba Avenue with Macedonia Street.

At first the Police thought it was an accident, since there was a scooter next to the young man lying on the street, however the victim had stab wounds, which would have caused his death, although the autopsy will be carried out. The Institute of Legal Medicine will determine the exact causes of death.

There were witnesses to the event, which took place shortly before eight in the morning this Sunday, who told the agents that a fight had occurred that would have ended in this outcome. According to Diario de Sevilla, some of them point out that the dispute began in one of the nearby nightclubs, located in the Polígono Calonge.

After the attack, one of the alleged attackers surrendered to the State security forces, although it was this morning when the Police confirmed a second arrest for this homicide.

The Homicide Group continues to investigate the event and, as sources close to the case pointed out, it is ruled out that the fight occurred between Latin and Arab gangs.
