It was Dídac Flores, with Suerte en mi Vida, who had the idea of ??creating a comedy based on the popular Eurovision Song Contest, with intrigue included. Because if someone says “twelve points”, the reference is immediate. That is why they have named their intense show that way, although badly written.
Tuelf points premiered at the Gaudí theater in Barcelona and thanks to its success it has now made the leap to the Borràs theatre, where it will be presented this July, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with various schedules.
The plot is about a secret organization that is the one that pulls the strings of the Eurovision festival, which is going through a bad time: the Maestro, the composer who has created all the songs that have won the festival, has died… And not we will tell more.
The Borràs theater assembly has taken on a new dimension, thanks to a giant 6×2.5m LED screen, which offers Full HD images, while the five performers link fragments of up to 120 Eurovisual songs in more than 90 minutes that last Tuelf points .
On stage, Laura Daza, Xavi Duch, Marc Pociello, Esther Peñas and Dídac Flores, with the swingers Carles Pulido and Aina Tro. But the montage has more surprises and, as virtual collaborations, Nina, Miki Núñez, Ruth Lorenzo and the TV3 journalist Toni Cruanyes.
“When we premiered it, we bet that Loreen would win with Tattoo and we were right”, declares Flores, who assures that this production will be on tour and that it will be performed for many years “because in each edition of the festival we will update it with the new hits”.
