Three women, one of them a minor, have denounced an osteopath from Tolosa for sexual assault and the Ertzaintza does not rule out that new complaints may be made in the coming hours. The latest complaint occurred in the last few hours, after the case was made public following the first two complaints and the arrest of the alleged aggressor. The man is free with charges, after his passing through the Tolosa courts.
The alleged perpetrator of these crimes began the osteopathy sessions in the normal way, with massages in the back, neck or lumbar area. However, later, without any consent or prior authorization from the victims, the osteopath touched the women in their intimate areas, as stated by the Department of the Interior of the Basque Government.
The man was arrested after the first two complaints were filed in January by two women, one of them a minor. They reported touching and behavior against sexual freedom during the massage sessions, which took place in a center in Tolosa.
The victims also indicated that they became afraid due to the defendant’s behavior during the massage sessions, since they were alone in his office.
Following these complaints, Ertzaintza agents proceeded to arrest the person involved for an alleged crime of sexual assault. The ertzainas also subsequently entered and searched the detainee’s office in search of evidence related to the events under investigation.
The detainee was placed at the disposal of the Tolosa Court, which released him with charges. Later, once the case has come to light, the third complaint has arrived.
