Large deployment of 13 units of the Generalitat Fire Department in Mataró, in a five-story building on Passeig de Ramon Berenguer at the confluence of Avinguda Gatassa and Calle Rosselló, where a house has caught fire.
Firefighters have evacuated three buildings as the flames have spread through the interior patio of the building and affect neighboring properties. Up to 13 fire crews, the Local Police and the emergency services participate in the extinction. The fire was detected around 7:15 a.m.
At the moment the security personnel are not venturing any hypothesis since they are focused on putting out the flames. However, some neighbors have commented that they thought they heard an explosion.
