It was during the same night, the early morning of January 20 to 21 of this year, when the three individuals, threatening the employees of the establishments with their firearms, perpetrated several robberies at different gas stations in Aljarafe, Seville, in the center of the city. in Bormujos, Mairena del Aljarafe and San Juan de Aznalfarache.
Two of them were fully identified by the clothes they were wearing since, that same day, they tried to rob a home in the Sevillian municipality of Bormujos and were arrested red-handed by the Local Police. Now, the National Police and Civil Guard have arrested them.
The perpetrators used a large-capacity station wagon-type family vehicle, previously stolen, to make a moon landing at the service station of a well-known shopping center in the town of San Juan de Aznalfarache, stealing the cash registers and all the money contained inside. they.
As they fled in the direction of Mairena del Aljarafe, they tried to rob another gas station with a short pistol-type weapon, threatening the clerk to open the door for them while they tried to break the glass with a fire extinguisher stolen from the shopping center.
Seeing their purpose frustrated, they decided to flee in search of another objective, moving to a third service station located in the urban center of said town, now managing to enter inside it, where two employees were working.
With extreme violence, they threatened the clerks with the aforementioned weapon and also emptied the contents of a fire extinguisher at one of them, obtaining as loot all the money contained in the cash register and packets of tobacco.
During the investigations, the agents realized, due to the clothing that the criminals were wearing during the assaults, that two of them had been detained ‘red-handed’ by the Bormujos Local Police the same morning as the events while they robbed a home. Thanks to this arrest, the agents were able to unequivocally link these individuals with one of the robberies committed that same night at one of the service stations.
Subsequently, as a result of the investigations carried out by investigators from both bodies, they linked and confirmed that all of these crimes were carried out by the same three perpetrators.
Finally, after months of analyzing all the information collected by the investigators and once the stolen vehicle used by the perpetrators of the events was recovered, the agents arrested the three assailants and placed them at the disposal of the judicial authority.
