In 2011, Monmouth University, located in the rocker’s home state of New Jersey, created the Bruce Springsteen Special Collection, made up of some 35,000 objects from 47 countries, mostly donated by the musician’s fans. Not far from the university campus, Bruce Springsteen wrote his iconic song Born to Run. Now, the university’s collection expands to a museum made up of two floors, where all the pieces related to the Boss’s career, as his followers affectionately know him, will be presented.
