The party of the players of the Spanish team with the fans for the conquest of the World Cup will be non-stop. The celebration for the title won in Australia and New Zealand will be in the same place where the men’s team did in 2010, on the Puente del Rey esplanade, after completing the trip from Sydney on flight IB2813, which landed in the capital of Spain. It is scheduled for ten o’clock at night.
The celebrations will take place in the area popularly known as the esplanade of the Spanish team, in the Madrid RÃo area, since the great event in South Africa was won in 2010 after Andrés Iniesta’s goal. The euphoria for the victory over England will surely be the great antidote to park the jet lag after 24 hours of travel.
The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) summoned all the fans of the team at 9:00 p.m., in a public space with a capacity for 20,000 people, where while the team completes the last part of their flight, they will enjoy Musical performances. The Madrid City Council recalls that the area is just five minutes from the PrÃncipe PÃo intermodal station.
The international players fly on a charter chartered by Iberia, the ‘A350 Talento a Bordo’, which took off at six in the morning in Sydney (Spanish midnight). They will travel with their families, sponsors and all RFEF staff, including President Luis Rubiales, on a flight of 250 people.
The cava and a celebratory cake are already prepared awaiting the arrival of the players in a plane that is the most advanced of the company, an Airbus A35, baptized ‘Talent on Board’ as a tribute to the world champions.
Around 10:00 p.m. they will land in Barajas, where an open-top bus will wait to make the final journey to the venue. As reported by the RFEF, the celebration events have been prepared in collaboration with the Higher Sports Council, the Community of Madrid and the Madrid City Council.
