This is how the hype of the Champions League quarterfinal draw remains

Real Madrid and Napoli have won this Wednesday the last tickets for the quarterfinals of this edition of the Champions League and will meet their respective rivals, along with the other six classified teams, in the draw to be held this Friday, March 17. March at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon from 12 noon.

The whites have gone through to the next round after beating Liverpool, whom they have beaten both at Anfield and the Bernabéu, while the Neapolitans have eliminated Eintracht Frankfurt, also defeated in the first leg and in the second leg. In addition to Madrid and Napoli, the other classified teams are Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Benfica, Milan, Inter Milan and Chelsea.

Benfica and Chelsea were the first teams to get their place in the quarterfinals. The Portuguese thrashed Bruges (5-1) in the second leg in Lisbon and the English suffered until the end in London to overcome Borussia Dortmund (2-0). Then came the resolution of the star tie, Bayern-PSG, which ended with victories for the Germans (0-1 and 2-0).

For its part, Milan earned a single goal from Brahim Díaz in the first leg at the San Siro to eliminate Tottenham. The same script was followed by Inter Milan against Porto, qualified thanks to a single goal from Lukaku in the first leg played in Italy. Then came Manchester City’s rout of RB Leipzig (7-0) with Haaland’s historic five goals and finally Napoli and Real Madrid completed the hype.

The draw will not have conditions in the pairings and the path of the teams to the final will also be known. The first leg of the quarterfinals will be played on April 11 and 12 and the second leg on April 18 and 19. The semifinals will be in May, first on the 9th and 10th and later on the 16th and 17th. The final in the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul will be held on June 10.
