The Municipal Police of Terrassa has rescued 24 animals that were living in an unsanitary situation in a slum in the city, located at the junction of the Matadepera road and La Lacetania avenue.
As reported by the City Council, the agents received a notice from a neighbor warning that a group of dogs did not stop barking for long periods of time. Around one in the afternoon yesterday, Tuesday, July 12, the police appeared at the house.
The Mossos, together with the municipal technicians from the Animal Welfare Service, were able to verify that there were, among other things, seven dogs, seven chickens and ten ferrets that shared a space and with a lot of dirt.
The agents confiscated all the animals from their owners and opened an investigation for animal abuse.
