A team from the Elx Local Police that was traveling from Arenales del Sol to El Altet on December 13, observed two minors walking alone on the shoulder of a road. The agents immediately changed direction to inquire about the condition of both when a vehicle stopped incorrectly on the shoulder and a woman, the mother of the children aged 6 and 8, got out.
As he explained, he had picked up the two children from school and since they were misbehaving, he had stopped the car and told them to get out. After that, the woman left the place with the aim of returning a few minutes later and thus giving them a lesson.
Shortly after, when he returned, the minors were no longer there, so he began to look for them and shout their names, leaving another minor inside the car in the care of a group of unknown young people and a woman who was passing by. While she was desperately looking for them, a woman driving a vehicle told her that the children were walking on the road, so the mother got in the car to go look for her.
The agents verified that both minors were fine and took them and their mother to the car where the other minor was. Likewise, they verified that from the point where the mother left the children to the place where they were located there was a distance of 1 kilometer along a poorly lit two-way road, a danger zone for minors who were walking alone. along the shoulder.
Because of everything that happened, the agents informed the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office.
