The Civil Guard is investigating the murder of a woman who has been found with signs of violence in the Valencian town of Rafelcofer, as confirmed by sources from the Armed Institute.

The Levante-EMV newspaper reported this Sunday on the discovery of the body of Rosa del Carmen Pous Escrivá, 66, in her home “with numerous stab wounds.” According to this medium, the daughters were the ones who saw their mother’s lifeless body, around two in the afternoon, when they were informed that the victim’s purse had been found lying in an open area near the home of Pink.

The neighbor went first to the victim’s house. After seeing that he did not respond, he went in search of his daughters. They went to their mother’s house and entered, at which point they came across the body, according to the Valencian media.

One of the investigators’ hypotheses is that the crime may have been robbed as a motive.

The Benemérita Homicide Group has initiated an investigation to clarify the facts.
